Is anyone going to Roncesvalles this Thursday via the mountain route? Does anyone have information about snow in the pass? It looks rainy but otherwise okay. I'd be interested in company along the route if possible. Will check here on Wednesday. Thank you!

Hi,

Check with the local people, at the pilgrims' office, the day before set-off.
They know best.

Ultreya,
Carli Di Bortolo.

Carli has the right of it...the pilgrim office is in direct contact with Orrison half way up the mountain.

This time of year, if you haven't considered it yet, a stop at Orisson is a good bet for the night. Gives you a chance to check out your gear and fitness, enjoy the fantastic view and eat a supper to die for.

Buen Camino,

Arn

Looks like you will be in Roncesvalles for my birthday :)

Will be about 6 weeks or so behind you.

Buen Camino!

Hmm... Three days into your walk now.
If you didn't stop in Orrison, you will probably be in Pamplona tonight.
I wish you journey's mercies.

Buen Camino,
David, Victoria, Canada.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
