Will walk León to Santiago may 2013
Hi I decided last minute to do camino from leon to santiago , are there good shops to buy adventure clothing such as fleece, and trekking trousers in leon ?
Thanks for your help.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I noticed one store, good ? was quite decent.

It is on a side street to the pedestrian street when you have your back to the cathedral it will be on your left hand side a little further than half way down.

More like an alley really, the store if maybe 5 shops down on your right.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
there is a sports shop in leon called intersport conty, it is a chain of stores with a shop in avenue roma 1 24001 leon. it is a 10-15 minutes walk from the cathedral towards the river. go to calle ancha towards the river, to the first roundabout, go straight until the next roundabout, then left to ave roma.

There is also a "Base" store, which is a chain, at the corner of Avenida Ordono and Calle Villafranca. I bought some stuff from them in Burgos and found them good. Check it in Google Maps.
