I’ve had a look and think this could be helpful for future pilgrims on the Levante. I only looked at three or four posts, and saw the same thing several times. I just can’t resist putting in a plea that pilgrims refrain from picking fruit from the orchards. Yes, it’s stealing.

At several points on the Levante, I remember seeing signs of skulls and crossbones telling people not to eat the fruit because it had a lot of chemical sprays on it. Whether that is a real risk, or whether it just shows that this is a big problem to farmers along walking paths, we shouldn’t do it!
