I left my Aussie leather hat sitting on the head of a statue in Mansilla de Los Mules yesterday (see my photo). I am in Leon another day if someone happens to find it. Thanks.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Seems to me this thread is appropriate... But then again, what do I know.....Hope that you get your hat back!!!!

Of course it is appropriate. But did you looked at the photo and the sheer fact of forgetting the hat on a statue's head? It makes me laugh although it's about someone property or beloved item... ;)

I remember an anecdote of my friends from Slovenia while visiting their relatives in Australia. They've found "dead" kangaroo by the road and decided (yes, how sick) to take the group photo with poor animal dressed in a T-shirt with our national flag colours. And they also hang all others cameras but one around his/her neck. And the kangaroo suddenly got alive!!! And ran away with the T-shirt and all the cameras. My friends drove to Police station and report that. Of course policemen wanted to test them for drunk driving, but they've had one single photo of the situation. Of course they've never got back "runaway" stuff.
I can't imagine an Aussie or worst an Aborigine face when see this kangaroo. :D

Well, I just wanted to point out that in almost every "sad" situation there's a bit of humour. And while once on the Camino you get to experience that very well.

beaviscs,
Forgive my childish sense of humour this early in the evening, but I just can't resist saying "IT'S BEHIND YOU"' :)
