I am doing the Portuguese Route with the Spiritual Variant later part of May into mid June. What company would you recommend for luggage transfer. I’d rather have it set up from the beginning. Thanks!

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hi im starting my walk on sunday. If i decide my bags a little too heavy what are my options? Should i try to mail some stuff home from my hotel in madrid? Or what other options do i have and do i have to commit in advance?

I recall that Tuitrans had a 15kg limit. The cost was about €8 a day and I believe they would charge a little more if the weight was over 15kg. They need to know at least one day ahead and you need to give them your full itinerary for a quote. Other option is to use the Post Office. I have heard that they have a very good service from town to town.

Will you be on the Portuguese route?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
We did the Coastal Portuguese twice, this year (including the Spiritual Variant) and in 2018. Each time we used Tuitrans and were happy with the service we got from them. We particularly liked that they were flexible. They'll accommodate you if you need to change your itinerary or schedule.

Another plug for Caminofacil, their weight limit is 20kg ( although that is a lot of luggage), they do the coastal and central routes including the Variante Espiritual and cost is 5.5- 7 € depending on how many pieces and how many stages.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
