Greetings. I will need to send a small package from Santiago de Compostela to a pilgrim at a Porto hotel. About how long will it take to arrive? (I see posts about the opposite route, but I don't assume it's the same information in both directions.) Would I do best to use Correos, FedEx, or some other means? Thanks.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I know that @ivar uses DHL for international shipments.

The distance is the same in either direction. Sorting out who is responsible for your parcel between Correos and CTT might be fun if things go awry. DHL or their ilk at least provide one organisation to shout at rather than many

Not sure about DHL from Santiago to Porto... I would assume about a day or two...
I can ship DHL from my office in Santiago. More on this here:

Trecile is correct, Correos and CCT are seperate companies who don't liaise with each other in an effective way. We posted equipment from Porto to the main Correos in Santiago and it went instead to a holding depot of a courier company out near the airport where we had to go to pick up. Best follow the advise of using someone more reliable.
