May 2016 Walk

Hey everyone--

I'm embarking on my first Camino in late September, but I've decided to also try a spring walk, next May.

I would like to have a few different experiences, and I'm all geared up, so might as well plan!

I walked SJPdP to Santiago between April and May 2014 and will return May 2016 to walk SJPdP to Logroño. Not sure what day I will start - depends a bit on my compadres.

Hi , I walked SJPdP to Santiago this year April - May , had only 1,5 day's of rain . Next year I walk with my wife from Porto to Santiago , thats for both of us the
third time that we coming back to the Camino. You can say that we are addicted to the Camino . Wish you well and a Buen Camino , Peter .

I walked from SJPP to Logrono this past May. Next May 2016, I would like to continue starting from Logrono to Santiago...let me know if that would interest you!

You know, I've been a journeywoman my whole life. Since getting the call to embark on Camino de Santiago, I've been walking, walking, planning, hiking, reading, reading. Seriously, planning for the event got me through my last year of full-time teaching. I had reached that point at which I was "done" with grading essays, participating in training, and getting up at 5:30 AM. Planning for my journey to Spain, and reading all of the forum posts became a lifesaver.

When I was in high school--many, many long years ago--I knew I would travel to Spain. I studied it thoroughly, studied Spanish, studied maps. In college, Spanish was my chosen foreign language. I studied it for hours per day, trying to learn. I engaged a private tutor to practice speaking with...

At this point in my life, I have so many blessings, and one of them is having found several welcoming communities, including this one. Buen Camino.

Hi Julie! I also have not been successful with the calendar - and, I am planning on going back to finish my camino starting in Logrono May 2016 [I ended there this past May] Maybe we can coordinate something! Buen Camino!
