Wow!
I met a French lady in June who had walked out of her front door in the north of France to St Jean, then to Santiago, and when I met her she was on her way to the south of Spain to join the Via de la Plata at Cadiz, thence to Santiago again and then home - 5000 kms or so. Her footwear was a sturdy pair of leather sandals and a pair of Crocs. Her pack was a baby day pack. You meet some amazing people on the Camino

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
