Music Festival in Santiago June 28-30

Hello all wise pilgrims...I have heard, but cannot verify that there is a music festival in Santiago June 28-30. That is about the time we will arrive. Is this true and how will it affect finding a bed during those days? Suggestions???

It is certainly true that there is a big festival on those dates. No idea what effect it will have on beds but I doubt that it will make things any easier....

We have tried to book a hotel room, and about 95% are booked that weekend...Albergues may be best bet!

Almost exactly what a local newspaper said in an article today - they are predicting hotel occupancy rates around 94% for the festival.

Albergues are completely filling up and hotels are having higher occupancy. Please do book something as soon as possible to ensure you have a place to stay. I think you'll run into trouble if you try to find something the day you arrive. Buen Camino!
