Great news! More and better lodging is SO needed up that way.
I just wish they hadn't named it St. Nicolas. This makes it St. Nicolas number THREE on the Frances!

I stayed there and can vouch for its excellence. Definitely get the dinner option- the food was amazing!

I stayed there about a month ago. It is new and modern, spotlessly clean, with fabulous bathrooms, a full Pilgrim kitchen, a wonderful evening meal, and warm, gracious, helpful hosts.

It doesn't have a huge amount of personal charm, as many of the Camino favorites seem to do, but the Albergue San Nicolas is a great place to stay.

Great news. Got the last bed in town in 2012 and saw many a pilgrim marching or biking on.
