New Camino Companions Information...

While at Santiago this past week, Sister Katherine O'Flynn provided me a copy of the most current information about the Camino Companions Program. She asked that I make it available through the forum.

So, folks, as promised, here it is:

These are genuinely GOOD people helping anyone and everyone to better understand the effects of and meaning of accomplishing a Camino. They are there to listen, to counsel, and to support the mind and the soul. I heartily recommend stopping by for a session, or just a visit. I did.

Usually, Sister Katherine or Sister Marion can be found at, or in the vicinity of the chapel located in the same building as the new Pilgrim Welcome Center at 33 Rua Carretas. The chapel is magnificent, yet non-sectarian.

As the flyer indicates, you can also make arrangements for a private session by sending an advance e-mail note to caminocompanions@gmail.com.

Thanks for sharing that, t2andreo, I can imagine they are wonderful women to speak with.. and the chapel being beautiful and non sectarian sounds good too :)
 
I will be looking forward to this. Last year Sister Kathryn had an afternoon meeting for English speaking pilgrims in a room at the old Pilgrim office.

It was lovely to sit and chat over a cup of tea. :)
