Time of past OR future Camino
walking in 2020 - first time
Hello everyone, I am a new user of this forum. I have been given so much inspiration from the few entries i have read. My friend and I are doing the Camino from Porto, next September. It will be our first Camino. I would like a rest day in Tui/Valenca, is Pontevedra also worth a stop for an extra night?
Thanks to whom ever answers, Ruth

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Welcome to the forum Ruth, happy planning for your Camino, I haven't walked that one but I'm sure you will get plenty good advice here.

Hey! Seems you have sensible ideas already! Tui/Valenca is perfect for rest day. Try the tourist train there, although short wander to each other. Pontevedra is certainly a great stop! Try to have a day at the start in Porto, and of course in Santiago. Hope you are doing the Credencial stamps. Buen Camino đź‘Ł

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi Ruth, we walked the end of September from Porto and had a great time on the Central Route. We had a rest day in Ponte de Lima as the leg from Barcelos to Ponte de Lima is long and it took it out of me!

All the places you have named a worth having an extra day if you have the time.

Enjoy! Bom Camino!
