Olá Pilgrims, found a new website for the Portuguese Caminho pela Costa.

Have a look: http://www.caminoporlacosta.es/ Sorry it´s in Spanish and you have to scroll up for stages and more infos.

Clicking on ETAPAS you will find in the text ......Luis de Freixo ( enlace a su página) .....There are the maps - a bit difficult to handle.

Bom caminho, Rainer

Thanks for posting, Luis Freixo's maps are the best maps (and simple to read) I've seen of any Camino or Guide Book so I really don't see the point your making at all ? I have them all on my Smartphone in PDF....

I agree, Luis is doing a very good job. Not only in maps. I know some of his videos and other stuff about the caminos. Every year I work as hospitaleiro in Angeiras for about one or two months. A lot of pilgrims use Luis´maps.
Talking about the maps. I found out, that the survey is somewhat difficult for inexperienced pilgrims. They are confused about the different names of the camino parts, especially when they use German or French guide books. Therefore i wrote ~it´s a bit difficult to handle~ maybe not for English speaking pilgrims.

Btw - I´m a geographer and I don´t have any issues with the excellent maps.

Hi everyone, Just looking for some advice whether you think it would be better to start in Vigo or Tui? We have previously walked Sarria to Santiago in 5 days so hoping to do something similar...
