No fee-ATM/Credit Card for US pilgrams?

Hello!
I have scoured this wonderful forum for an answer to this question. I found lots of suggestions from those living in EU, but not US.

Is there a credit card originating from the US that can also be used in an ATM that has no foreign transaction fees for the ATM? Visa charges 3% which I guess isn't huge but I'd like to find a lower one. Thanks so much for any suggestions you might have.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
A checking account with Schwab probably has the lowest fees. They refund the host machine fee, usually around $4.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
My Schwab card worked in every machine I tried last month. No fees.

Charles Schwab for me too.

Yup, me too.
I love my Schwab account!
No fees - everything is reimbursed at the end of the month.
Even exchange fees are reimbursed.
Plus it's good to have a travel account apart from your regular bank account (to me) and you can set it up so your husband or friend or relative can put money into it for you if you get short or stuck.

Schwab for me too! Worked in all ATMs on VdlP and no fees!

FYI. Another U.S. option: Have just requested a Chase Sapphire card. No foreign transaction fees. Card is free the first year, then $95 renewal.

It's useful to be careful of the distinction here. There are two separate fees: one for using ATMs (termed "foreign ATM fee") and a different one for making credit card purchases from merchants (termed "foreign transaction fee"). The ATM fee is applied to your bank or debit card. The foreign transaction fee is applied to your credit card. If you are using a debit card for both ATM and purchases, then you must deal with both types of fees on the one account/card.

Charles Schwab has reimbursed ALL fees at the end of the month, both ATM and foreign transaction fees.

Money stolen from bag on bed while sleeping. Estelle municipal hostel. Not a big inconvenience as my passport and credit cards were left.
