Now that the creation of Compostelas is automated, is there a box or comment section to request Vicarie Pro or do you just ask when you pick up your Compostela

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
What a wonderful idea! Never knew that you could do that. Had to Google the term to find out about it.

I think there must be fringe cases where it still has to be done manually -- most Compostelas when I was last there were already being done automatically, I think, though my own couldn't be for my own particular tech reasons and unusual Camino.

I do not see how any future provision to me personally of a Compostela could be IT-generated, from my deep antagonism to such mechanisms, nor my tendency to not walk upon the beaten track, although I can very easily see that this is now the "new normal" for the hugely massive majority of pilgrims.

I see it as just one more regression into more and more touristification.

The Compostela is in principle a canonical document provided by Holy Church at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela -- to have one automatically generated from IT is frankly a travesty.

Are they having trouble finding enough zoomer generation volunteers with the basic understanding of Latin to do the job properly ?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
