Ops I forgot another question

Hello all,
I forgot to ask in my previous message.
Should I contact SJPDP before I go or do I "register" when I get there.
I plan to have 1 day in SJPDP to rest before I start walking. Will it be OK to just roll up and register etc on the spot?

Thanks in Advance

No need to call them up. Just walk in and get your credencial & sello at the office. They can assist you in finding accommodations.

Calling ahead

Perhaps with the crowds at this time of the year, it would be worth emailing the albergue to reserve a room.
You will find info on the website http://www.espritduchemin.org. or email them at : hubertarno@espritduchemin.org (They keep a few beds for pilgrims travellking from afar).
You can get your credential at the Accueil des pelerins de St-Jacques, 39 rue de la Citadelle (the main street through the old town). This office is open from 7h30 to 12h30 and then from 13h30 to 22h
Buen camino!
