PAMPLONA airport + Credential?

Hi!

Does anyone know is the airport in Pamplona far away from the centre? Is it safe to start walking from there, or do you recommend taking a taxi or a bus? The closer my arrival date comes, the more I start to "panic" about the details...

Also I would like to know about so often asked "where to acquire the Credential?"
I read from Ivar's earlier postings, that in Pamplona you can get it from:

PAMPLONA - Albergue de peregrinos. - La Universidad de Navarra también las distribuye en el punto de información que tiene en el Edificio Central del campus universitario. Rolling Eyes

Is there many albergues in Pamplona, which one of them gives Credentials?
And what does the rest of the text mean? Universitys Information center in a local campus? (I should learn some Spanish before leaving...huh)

I'm still considering whether to spend a first night in the hotel someone recommended here earlier, or to go to some albergue. I'll be arriving to Pamplona around 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Thanks a lot -again!

Jonella :)

Pamplona

Hello from Pamplona.-
When do you arrive to Pamplona ?.
The airport it is not far, but you must come in Taxi, Walking is dangerous.

In Pamplona, depend when arrive -spring or summer. there are some albergues.-
In all Albergues you can get the credential.
Sorry my English is very bad..... But don´t worry it is easy.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Hola Javier :D

Thank you for your message!
Don't worry about your English, I've noticed that people here will understand you anyway, eventhough you don't know the right words or can't say things as well as you would like to. And for me your English sounds perfect enough :)

I heard that I can get a Credential from Albergue de Religiosas Adoratrices (address Dos de MaNo. 4 ). I will propably also spend my first night there, if they have enough room.

I'll be arriving to Pamplona 10th of April, just a day after Easter Monday. It's getting closer and closer all the time...

Greetings from Finland!
