Hi there,
I am starting the camino from Pamplona May 6th. Will stay in Pamplona for two nights to get over jet lag. Any suggestion as to where to stay in the old part of town?
Thanks
Felix

Hi Felix,

I have no personal experience with Pamplona, but could have sworn we had someone with a similar question earlier... I did some searching, and... I found it:

.. it should give you some ideas at least.

Buen camino,

Felix, Pamplona is a great place to explore, so by all means enjoy being their for a couple of days. But walking is a great cure for jetlag......

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Pamplona Hotel

Yes........I can heartily recommend the Hotel Eslava in the old town. We stayed there for two nights (May, 2002) to become acclimatized to the country/culture, and we agreed it was a good decision. We bussed to Roascesvailles (sp), where we began our trip on bicycle. The end of our first day was reentering Pamplona and it felt familiar and welcoming........a good way for the first day to end and harbinger of things to come over the next three weeks.........................

Hope you enjoy your adventure.............I still think about ours, 4 years later!

There is a refugio @ the old convent near the town square. Wonderful people, great accomodations for pilgrims. The camino goes right in front of the convent. There also is spring water in front of the building. fill up and follow the arrows. buen camino.
