Part Camino Frances during Christmas

Hi,
I'm was planning to walk the 30 odd day full Camino during Dec/Jan, but unfortunately I will have reduce the length of my journey to about half, due to budget issues!
Can anyone recommend where to start and finish if I plan only to do 10 days/ 2 weeks over December? I'm a pretty keen walker, but recently somewhat out of shape, the 20/25km per day sounds about the max for me.
I also want to relish the experience and not race along.

@rajee37 , Leon to Santiago in 14 days is just about do-able in fair weather but you are more likely to hit foul, especially over the heights around O'Cebreiro. You might want to think about restricting yourself to Sarria - Santiago and if you find yourself with plenty of time on your hands continuing to Fisterra.

A start from Villafranca del Bierzo is feasible but puts you East of O'Cebreiro and leaves the potential of weather delays.

Much depends on where you intend to enter and exit Spain. Some places are more readily accessible than others

If budget is an issue - what about the Portuguese? I understand it is a bit cheaper than Spain, and the length of time is about right. I haven't walked it myself but assume because it is closer to the coast the weather would be milder. I'm sure the Portuguese camino fans on the forum could say much more.

Many thanks for your prompt reply. I'm based in Barcelona, so getting to start points via bus, train etc should be ok. I imagine its probably wet, rather really cold, can I expect anything more severe?

I would think snow at O'Cebreiro and beyond is almost guaranteed but the road route will most likely be walkable. This site http://www.aemet.es/es/eltiempo/prediccion/municipios/horas/ferrol-id15036 provides current weather predictions and much useful historical information too. I guess if your living in Barca your Spanish will help you make good use of it. I struggle sometimes.
