Pilgrim albergue in Vilamartín

Vilamartín is in between Barco and A Rúa. It is an option, maybe most likely to be used by people who don´t want to walk only 14 kms from Barco to A Rúa. Staying in Vilamartín would give you the option to go beyond, as one recent pilgrim did.

Anyway, as I was looking for info on the Vilamartín albergue (non pilgrim-specific, right near the swimming pool), I came across an article from this summer talking about a pilgrim albergue being built.

does anyone know anything about this? If you have seen or stayed in the youth albergue in Vilamartín can you look at the picture in the article and see if it is a different building?

So I wonder if they are planning on refusing entry to non-pilgrims, by that I mean, shifting the building from a albergue juvenil that admits pilgrims to an albergue de peregrinos that won’t admit non-pilgrims of any age. If it needs 60,000 euros of work, it must have not been very suitable for anybody. Thanks, wise one.
