- Time of past OR future Camino
- 2009, 2014, 2017
Hi everyone,
The Pilgrim House welcome center opened today for the year, and the team would love to meet you and hear about your Camino after you get into Santiago. Some new resources have been added this year as well:
* Daily group Camino Debrief sessions at 4pm. Formerly we called these Pilgrim Meet-Ups, but we've shifted the focus to go deeper in helping pilgrims process and debrief their Camino, thus the name change. Important note: @SYates will still be holding the Forum Meet-Up for members of this forum. So if you'd like to attend that, please do! And come visit us another time during opening hours.
* Personal Camino debriefing sessions with a member of the staff.
* Guided reflective meditation in a group using Psalms as principal Scripture passages for reflection.
* If you felt the need for prayer after your Camino, we would be privileged to pray with and for you.
We've also significantly upgraded our back room and patio as places for solitude, reading, and journaling. We welcome you to take advantage of these quiet spaces if you need time away from the hustle and bustle of Santiago.
As always we provide laundry services, boarding pass printing, and daily backpack storage on a suggested-donation basis. These services need to be requested in person (so please do not send your pack to us by mail ).
If you've visited before, you'll want to note that our hours have changed for this year due to managers being out of the country at different times of the year. So for 2018 our hours are:
Monday: 11am - 6pm
Tuesday: 11am - 6pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 11am - 6pm
Friday: 11am - 6pm
Saturday: 11am - 6pm
Sunday: Closed
The address is Rua Nova, 19, just a couple blocks behind the Cathedral.
To be clear Pilgrim House is a non-profit, non-commercial initiative.
Buen Camino if you're preparing to go out on the trail this year and perhaps we'll see you soon!
Faith
