Place (albergue?) to send a small packet for a pilgrim?

Hola, pilgrims.
Due to my own time mismanagement, I have run out of time to send something to a peregrina friend who is starting her Camino in Madrid on Monday. Can you suggest a place early-ish on this route where I can send a small envelope for her to pick up? I've not walked this route (yet!) so don't know the great places with really accommodating hospitaleros but I'm sure they are out there.

¡Muchos gracias!

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Hallo Helen,
on first stages of Camino de Madrid, there are no albergues, so your friend will be staying in hotels ,most likely in Tres Cantos ,Colmenar ,Manzanares , Cercedilla (where the only 'albergue like' accomodation is the youth hostel) and Segovia ,where one albergue was opened recently....
Where to send your mail will depend how fast your friend is walking and how fast the mail is being delivered from where you live to Spain...

Thank you, Giorgio, for the list of possible places where she might land. It is rather like trying to hit a moving target, isn't it? Thinking about this some more, instead of trying to get my parcel to a place before she moves past it, I'm going to ship it to Santiago or where she goes afterwards. She won't have it for this Camino, but hopefully this isn't her last. And at least this way, she will get it. Thanks again.

I came *so* close to just booking a flight to Madrid to meet and walk with her, but unfortunately, a bit of prudence prevailed....

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
