Hi I am Sharon from Brisbane Australia. My husband Ian and I are planning to walk the Camino trail in May June next year. We plan to fly to Paris and then make our way to Ronscanville to start. Does any one have any tips on organising our trip?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hi Sharon,
Welcome to the forum.
I haven't actually travelled from Paris to Roncenvalles, but from Paris to Saint Jean.
If you have the time it is a great walk across the mountain from SJPP into Spain.
Hopefully, you and Ian will have a wonderful Camino.
Feel free to ask specific questions, plenty of good people here, many with a great deal of experience and knowledge.
Don't forget to use the search function as you'll track down lots of information that way.
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, as someone usually has the answer.
Buen Camino

Hi Sharon. We flew into Paris and caught the TGV to Bayonne and then the local train to St Jean Pied de Port. We started walking here and were so glad that we did. Nothing beats crossing the Pyrenees in beautiful weather. We took two days to cross, staying at Orisson, before we reached Roncesvalles. Flew Singapore Airlines from Brisbane to Paris and organised train fare through our local travel agent.
Make use of the stores down in the Valley for lightweight gear.
We will also be walking at the same time from Le Puy.
Will send a PM.
Sharon

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi, Sharon.
Maybe we'll meet on the second half. I'm going to start in the second half of May and continue through June, but start in Montserrat, just north of Barcelona. This will be my first time, so of course I have no advice. Buen camino!
