Flying from the States to Vigo next Thursday/Friday, and will begin our Camino from Ponte de Lima on Saturday morning. The plan is to make it to Santiago by late Friday afternoon, which I know means we will have one very long 30KM day from Tui to Redondela. The plan is:
Day 1- Ponte de Lima to Rubiaes
Day 2 - Rubiaes to Tui
Day 3 - Tui to Redondela
Day 4 - Redondela to Ponte Vedra
Day 5 - Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis
Day 6 - Caldas de Reis to Padron
Day 7 - Padron to Santiago

We are packed and ready to go! Can't wait. Thanks to Diogo for sending us our credentials!

Glad to hear something from you Mike!

I'll do the same thing, starting tomorrow, but staying in O Porriño after Tui.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Bom Caminho Mike,

in the german pilgrimforum was a notice that there is a new albergue/hostel in Rubiaes opened beginning this month.

In Rubiaes you will find a residencial, the official albergue and this new hostel. I did´nt know about, otherwise i would have checked in there. The official albergue was in a worth situation after the wet winter. It was horrible there. So i remember i saw this house a 50 - 100 mtr behind the official albergue. It was looking nice but that time i did not rekogniced it as a hostel/albergue. May is cause it opened a few days ago. I passed there on march, 6, 2014.
