Camino Portuguese Nov 2013
Hi All,
Start from Porto on Nov 6 - my 50th! I will head south from the Cathedral, follow Rio Douro to the coast which should add a day I guess. Plan to head inland at Vila de Conde .... and then ... sometime after that I will get to Santiago.... there is no rush.

Thanks.... I can't believe it's almost time. I wonder how many other pilgrims I will meet. Wish I spoke Portuguese or Spanish... Probably would help meeting locals.

My Camino was wonderful!! I highly recommend the Caminho Portuguese.
I walked alone almost all of it, but met up with people at the albergues in the evening. I liked it this way. Most people travelled faster than me. I took 15 days resting for one due to a sore leg (shin splints).. I am glad I had a sore leg because it slowed me down... For it was the journey that was special for me, not the completion of the trail. Bom Caminho!
