I am walking in March and April of 2019.
Anyone know if the primitivo is walkable in december? Are there albergues open for
example? Is the terrain ok in that time of year?
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Take a look at Sara Dhooma's YouTube channel. She walked the Primitivo in November and it will give you a good idea of winter conditions.
A good friend walked the Primitivo in November 2022 and renamed it "El Camino Cerrado" as so many places where closed! They didn't really have an issue with accommodation, but cafes and restaurants were closed a lot.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
I walked part of the Norte in February a couple of years ago and nearly every bar/cafe mentioned in the guide books was closed!
