Is there anyone who has walked the Primitivo in October? If so I would appreciate any advice, tips, or cautions you might have - I want to start on Oct. 10 and go through to Muxia. I am concerned about getting through the mountains at that time of the year - hope to hear from someone.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I walkd in October 2019, very good timing.
Dont worry. Be prepared for rainy days.

Best month to do it IMO.

Buen camino from a Chester chap.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

No problem then getting accommodations - alburgues or pensions? Rain is no problem I live on the coast of Nova Scotia

Chester is a small village forty miles down the coast from Halifax. And surprisingly my father also sailed on the convoys WW2 (Canadian Navy even though he was a Brit) from Halifax to England. Small world.

You may find yourself in Muxia when the clocks go back on the 25th.
Something to consider when getting the bus back to SdC.
Confused the heck out of me. :0)

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
