I would just buy at Oriente Station. There may well be a queue at the ticket office. The slower and cheaper IC trains have more room.

Just took the train from Porto-Lisbon. Bought tickets on the train line’s website in advance which includes a discount for early booking. My friend who is 71 qualified for a 20% “senior” discount.

Glad we had tickets in advance as the train was full that Sunday morning.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
If you're confident on your timing buy online and print at home. Loco2.com is excellent and same price as the national rail offices.

In Spain and Portugal, if you buy in advance the tickets are often substantially cheaper than a 'walk up' at the counter, sufficiently so that I've sometimes bought tickets for two consecutive trains knowing that I will only use one and still saved money.

Tickets are usually available 2-3 months pre-departure, but sometimes less. There is a mass of info on Loco2.com or 'the man in seat 61' (google it)

Hope that helps.

Buen camino.

I took the train today from Lisbon to Porto. I bought my ticket ahead on the train app for my phone. I left from the Oriente station. I think there are many trains a day. I was on the 10am train and it was very full.
