Question about private message and my folders

Hoping that some tech-savvy person can help me out. I saw that I had some private messages this morning when I logged on. When I went to the inbox, I saw another message that said that one or maybe more of them had been deleted because of my filters. I don't think there's a filter that scans personal messages and then deletes some, is there?

I realized that my inbox was full, carelessness on my part, and I wonder whether that was what made the PMs get deleted.

And one more question -- will the people that sent me PMs get a message that my mailbox was full and that I never saw their message, or will they just think that I am rude and don't answer my PMs?

Too many questions, sorry. Thanks, Laurie

Hola Laurie,
If you delete the oldest/'not needed any more' messages from your inbox then your new ones should appear, mine did earlier this week. The delete is the other option in the drop down box bottom right below messages.
Then I went into settings and checked the box that says something like 'if inbox is full delete oldest messages'. I think it then removes enough to let new ones in, but without you getting the choice of which.
Have a go and I hope it works for you.

I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
If you’re walking the Camino Portugues right now I’d recommend you avoid the complementario route into Pontevedra. While it is quiet and green and follows the river, it’s also a muddy mess. I...
