Time of past OR future Camino

We are walking to Logrono and we fly back out of Birratz.

Can anyone help us plan our return trip back to Birratz, the fastest possible route.
We will be travelling early Sept and during the week if that helps.
This is our first time on the Camino

Looks like you can take a bus from Logrono to San Sebastian on Le Estellesa bus line and then transfer to the Alsa bus line from San Sebastian to Biarritz. Of course the bus tickets don't go on sale until about a month ahead, but here is an example if you were traveling later this month. Bus schedules do change some, but usually not that much. Buses in Spain are quite nice. I don't know what time your plane leaves, but you can explore options on Google Maps or Rome to Rio pretty easily.

edited: If you can buy tickets in advance that might be advisable.

I'm not sure about the "fastest" part...
But last year I walked SJPP to Leon, Spain. The walking part was truly fabulous. Then I was surprised to find the journey by train and bus back to catch my flight home (from Paris) was yet another fabulous adventure!
I went from Leon to Palencia to San Sebastian by train and then by bus to Biarritz. I took an extra day at each stop to explore and was so happy to visit these wonderful destinations.
I got my train tickets from renfe.com
And I got my bus ticket from flixbus.com
Buen Camino!!!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
San Sebastian is a wonderful place for a stopover although it will be more expensive than the Camino. We rented an Airbnb there last summer on our "tourism" week after our Camino walking and before starting our volunteer work as hospitaleros. Went to San Sabastian, Bilbao, Zaragoza, and Avila all by train and bus and then to our volunteer albergue site.

Agree with Willhaus Back to San Sebastion/Donostia, from Logrono best bet, frequent buses to Biarritz some stopping at airport. Just over one hour to Biarritz from San Sebastian/Donostia

Check Rome2Rio - driving is quickest, with bus coming in as second fastest and cheapest.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I have done that trip several times when I lived in Biarritz after I took a short walk to Logrono. Bus is the best option and the connections worked out perfectly. It is a lovely trip through the Rioja Valley during vendage. I can't remember if my connection to France was in Bilbao or San Sebastian. Chance are it was Bilbao or Irun because if it was San Sebastian I would have stayed for tapas crawl:p;):rolleyes:o_O
