Ready in the heart to do the Camino...

Hi!
Well, my heart is ready and I am now beginning the preparation for my trek. Naturally, I have a million questions and am wondering if there is an enlightened soul that wouldn't mind assisting with some answers(?).
I imagine the Camino is less populated during the autumn months--what can one expect in September or October weather wise and pilgram (population) wise? Okay to travel "alone" and which route do you recommend?

Thank you for your time words of wisdom!

Ciao,

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Jacquie,
I walked the camino from St Jean to Finisterre last Fall staring on October 19th. It was a fantastic experience. We had warm weather to start and it got cooler and wetter by the end. You will be fine in Sept and Oct... probably quite hot to start.
There were not that many people when I walked and I liked that because there was never a problem with finding a bed, etc. I didn't feel like I had to rush to the refugio to line up!
You will be find travelling alone. You will meet lots of people!
Let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards
Jill

Hi Jacquie

The title of your post meant a lot to me.

This is my second time. Around the beginning of the year I found myself thinking about the camino again.

Slowly the idea took root.

I start from SJPP on 1 Sept so I may see you!

Buen camino
