Renewed Request for Info on Tricio

Time of past OR future Camino
First one in 1977 by train. Many since then by foot. Next one ASAP.
I've read some very interesting things about the Basilica of Sta. Maria de los Arcos, which is a few k off the Frances in Tricio, just before Najera -- but I haven't talked to anyone who's actually been there. Anybody been there? It sounds to me like it deserves a detour. Does it?

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Maybe next year :) Have you read Linda Davidson and David Gitlitz's descriptions?

Sillydoll! Hello!

I still kick myself for missing you that last day in SdeC. I honestly thought that you were leaving the next day. I wanted to tell you how grateful I was to you for the hard work that you and Marion did to help me "complete" my Camino - broken left hand and all!

Ultreia!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
It was an honour to walk with you!
Every Camino has a few stories and I like to tell one about a tall, lanky priest we walked with who was suffering from a sore back. Marion and I sat him down and insisted on examining the contents of his backpack (which looked really heavy). The priest reluctantly allowed us to empty the pack and share some of the contents. He gave Marion items of clothing, paperwork and food, and he gave me (the Buddhist) a pile of heavy Christian prayer books. I was expecting them to really weigh me down (Karma!) but they honestly did not weigh a thing and we were able to walk and talk to our next destination.
I hope your hand has healed :)
