Today, we have welcome the Suckling couple, pilgrims from Australia. Sandy and Colin. Her passion is Ultra Running, but now they are on Pilgrimage; Caminho Português (Lisboa - Santiago). Sandy has a website and blog where, I believe, you all can learn a lot, and where she is available to share her experience.

I love what she wrote about her experience walking the Camino Francés:

"We all stood there in front of this magnificent Cathedral almost in disbelief that the journey had ended …as much as we were all looking forward to finished and we were all so excited at what we had achieved there was a certain sadness, a feeling of being a bit lost in it all….. We had dreamed big and in turn had an experience of a life time…… "

Buen Camino Sandy and Colin! SY

I am in awe of this woman who speaks so candidly of her struggles and determination, both when she started running and going up the Napoleon route. Considering her feuille de route with all the races she had done around the world ot must have been a shock to struggle on a walk. Her post is making me consider learning to run again. And I also had to laugh at "autocorrect" who has decided an albegue is called an eggplant in Spanish :p.
