Just out of curiosity, I tried the room fragance "St.Jacques" by ipuro. Just wanted to let you know that although with this name it would seem natural, it doesn't smell like a 40-bed refuge dormitory  but has a nice vanilla note ;):

Which smell are we trying to replicate? The actual experience, or the romanticized one?

For actual, I suggest the mildew is close. You need to add the smell of mud and cow manure...lots of manure...

For romantic, I suggest you need to add the smell of fresh flowers, vineyards in bloom, eucalyptus, and the sea... oh, and frankincense as well (the botafumeiro)...;)

Hope this helps...
