I have seen people using the bladders for water. How are they kept clean and sanitized?

I use a large-mouth water bladder, and it is easy to wash and rinse. On the trail, I use a few drops of bleach to sanitize it.

You can use a couple of denture tablets to sanitize, there are even mint flavored ones that leave a slight odor, though I couldn't detect any taste. Just rinse well.

I give mine a good clean before a long trip with warm soapy water, rinse it and then leave overnight with a denture tablet added to the water. On the road, I then rinse it before refilling it, and give the bite valve a clean from time to time.

Polident, for example, has more in common with detergents (TAED) than sanitizers. As a result, it may take a lot of work to properly rinse the inside of the water bladder.

Really? I had the impression that most denture cleaners were basically bicarbonate of soda and citric acid, and I was paying a lot for it to be compressed and packaged into a convenient tablet form.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
