Santiago Matamoros stamp on Compostela?

Too many and too often!
I have just emptied my house and put everything into storage while major building work is done. In the process I discovered my credencial, diary and Compostela from my 1990 Camino which I thought I had lost for good years ago. I've just noticed a curious detail on the Compostela. The cathedral stamp in the bottom-left corner is an image of Santiago Matamoros. Searching online I find that almost all photos of the old-style sepia Compostela have a stamp with the same line drawing of an altar that appears on the current Compostela. A very understandable change given modern sensibilities. But I'm wondering when the switch was made. Anyone know when that happened?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
My 2013 Compostella does not have Santiago Matamoros on it. The stamp appears to be Santiago’s casket.

This is the first time I’ve looked at the 2013 Compostella in a decade; it is a lighter-weight paper than my later editions and has the same monochromatic reddish/sepia-ish coloured ink as yours. I think I like it better than the more colourful later versions.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Very interesting..
It is interesting to discover the changes over the years.

I just noticed that an early one of mine from 2009 does not have a siglnature block for a Cathedral official.
