Santiago-Sarria direct

Time of past OR future Camino
Apr 2014 SJPP to SDC to Finisterre
My wife will be meeting me in Sarria, She arrives early on a Saturday into Santiago airport, I cannot seem to find a direct route and she is not one for swapping buses in a foreign country on her own, Is there a direct bus or Taxi service from the airport?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Empresa Freire provides bus service between Santiago and Lugo. It stops at the airport enroute to Lugo bus station.

Monbus provides bus service from Lugo bus station to Sarria.

The other option is trains which require getting from the airport to the train station. The trains require a transfer at A Coruna, Ourense, or Monforte de Lemos.

Of course a taxi is possible but its 1oo km from the airport to Sarria ... I'd call that very expensive.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
If you decide to do the "taxi" thing contact José Luis Vizcaíno <xacotrans@gmail.com>. My wife took a taxi direct from the airport last fall. She said it was worth it after the three flights. If you can find someone to share the total is a little over 100 euros.
