Please advise as to how I can get from Santiago de Compostela back to Lisbon (for my flight home.) This will be in early November. I do not mind train or bus - or some combination of both. Thanks.
Hi, Hnguyen,
There is one bus a day that leaves Santiago around 11 am, I believe, and arrives in Lisbon many hours later. I've taken that bus, and if you like buses, it's fine.
The one advantage it has over the train is that to take the train, you need to transfer in Vigo, and then again, I believe in Porto. But if it were me, I'd do that the next time, but that's just because I don't like buses so much. Not sure if there are any cheap European airlines that do that route.
