Shipping liquids from Portugal to Spain?

Hello,

I start my first Camino soon. I have been traveling the world for a few months prior to this, so naturally I have a number of "liquid" items (hair products, perfume, massage oil, etc.) with me - am I able to ship these to Santiago? Either with the post office or a private shipping company? When I sent items back to Canada from France recently the liquids were not allowed.

I will likely ship from Porto on Monday so any suggestions on what budget-friendly company to use I would appreciate very much.

Thank you!

Use the post office in Porto (very helpful people), that is what I did when I mailed stuff to Ivar to store and then for him to deliver to my accommodation in Santiago just before I arrived. I am sure that as long as the liquids are well-wrapped it will be okay. Here in the UK I cannot send perfume or alcohol to my cousin in France as these are prohibited items, but on mainland EU I think the rules are different. Check with the Portuguese postal cervice before committing to a more expensive courier. Bom Caminho!

Thanks for the messages.

I had no problem using the post office @ the Porto airport - it was €28 to ship my hard plastic carry-on sized suitcase weighing 17kg to Ivar in Santiago - had it also wrapped in plastic for €10 at the airport (departures level near check-in 31). All they asked is that I was not sending any alcohol, flammable/explosive liquids, or aerosols. Easy peasy!

Now to start walking :-D
