Jhim, having made "a fleeting appearance"in part one and wishing I had been there for part two,I am going back in Sept 2018.Yes, it was fun ,along with all the other emotions, and as so many have found out it is totally addictive.Me demonstrating that the Camino can be loads of FUN. I know 14 mins is a tad long but it’s worth skipping to about half-way when the singing starts. Lots of really nice and interesting people that we met along the way make fleeting appearances. I’ve reposted as I think I accidentally deleted the file on Utube. Would love to get a comment( and at what time) from the people who appear.
Hi @philip a tobin - I just found you in part one! I am from Liverpool but living in Ireland!!Jhim, having made "a fleeting appearance"in part one and wishing I had been there for part two,I am going back in Sept 2018.Yes, it was fun ,along with all the other emotions, and as so many have found out it is totally addictive.
Something particularly nice about this video and your earlier one. Can't quite put my finger on what . Excellent camerawork and you make it look effortless - I suspect that takes very hard work at the editing bench!Me demonstrating that the Camino can be loads of FUN. Jimmy, another really happy and lovely quarter of an hour. You just exude happiness, the pair of you. Now, to more mundane business, balancing the books!Me demonstrating that the Camino can be loads of FUN. Timr. Thank you very much. The big prob was always convincing people to do it. I have to come up with something for people to say as most people freeze. Lol. Also it was minimal editing and again the problem was what to leave out. Hope it made you titter and hope u get just a fraction of the enjoyment I get in doing them. Brilliant. That’s why I posted it, so we all get little bits of wonderful memories of that adventure. Funnily enough, I get a message on YouTube from Linda (Tucson) almost within minutes of your message. Great memories of a great night in Herrerias. I still regale that story of Rob coming out of the forest in South America. So, hope you are enjoying the hot weather, as it’s blooming Baltic here in Scotland (-3C). Great to hear from you guys ..... Bon Camino (only we understand that). LolHi Jim and Carol, we really enjoyed meeting you both and the video brought back wonderful memories.
Your Kiwi friends,
Rob & Charlotte
Philip. Great to see you are watching out on the forum. Looks like you guys are getting some snow. Brrr. You make sure you use up that winter allowance as you need to keep going to have another wee birthday party along the way next year. Some great memories, and you are absolutely right, that WAY is like an addiction. I’m addicted to nice people, so keep going my friend. Hi mate, I’m literally gaun Masel on the vdlp. After 3 stages briefly chatted to an Italian couple. Since then...nata! every night in the albergue, alone. I’m not complaining, as I’m exasperated by the sunshine!Gaun Yirsel.

Soz mate, that was zafra, not sarria. Call it camino block! WildAwrighty jhimmy, hope you had a braw festive season. Mine was ok, apart from the food poisoning I picked up from the communal dinner on New Year’s Eve. The albergue in alescuar! A surreal situation indeed. Lights out by 2130. I spent the next 5 hrs back and forth to the loo. Details withheld! 4hrs kip and I managed 15k. Talking of Scots on the Camino. The owner of the van gough albergue in sarria, has a Scottish girlfriend. From sunny Montrose! A really nice lady. Pilgrims are virtually non existent. Can’t complain about the weather. It’s a strange but braw holiday! I’m loving every minute. Aw the best. Wild.
