Una flecha sigue una flecha
Time of past OR future Camino
SJPdP - Pamplona (2018); Pamplona - Burgos (2019)
After many years of thinking about doing the Caminio, this is the year I make a start. I arrive in Biarritz on May 26 and start walking from SJPdP on May 27. If there is room in Express Buricot or a shared taxi I will do that otherwise it will be the later train from Bayonne to SJPdP.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
That will be nearly exactly a year after we started in 2017 (24 May I think). If the weather repeats itself, you will have stifling heat early on (highs of mid-30s C in and around Pamplona), 2-3 days of rain in the week or so between Estella and Burgos, more stifling heat every day on the Meseta, and four consecutive days of rain in Galicia. ¡Buen camino! :)

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hi SFletcher,

Perhaps you can link up with Johan who has also posted here, compare arrival times and find a couple more from your flight and share a cab to SJPP? Cost per person with 4 passengers is about 25 euro. Just an option.

Hi Michelle
I don't know if we come from the same direction. I fly to Madrid - train to Pamplona, bus to SJPdP.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
No, I fly direct to Biarritz, arriving mid afternoon. But its more Forum faces to look out for in St Jean or on the road.

We are 4 people travelling to Biarritz from Dublin Ireland. We have booked Express Buricot to meet us, There will be 4 places left on the coach, so contact them and book, 19Euro and less if the bus is full.
