07 Sep - 14th Sep 2017 StJPP to Logroño.
Hello Pilgrims,

I am planning a trip to continue my camino from Logrono to Sarria, I completed
SJPDP - Logrono in 2017 and loved it. I guess my concern is that on that
first stretch I met so many wonderful people and I am thinking
when I arrive in Logrono to continue that it will be harder to meet people
as their groups have already been formed.

A silly concern however it is in the back of my mind.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
When I walked the CF I ended up walking 40 km per day on average (some day longer than others) over the whole trip. As this was a bit more than almost everybody else, I had the experience of meeting new people and groups many times along way. While there are some groups that form exclusively at the begining (these might be hard to join), there are plenty of group that form later/break up/regroup and plenty of people walking alone or in pairs - so I wouldn’t worry about it. Furthermore, Logrono is still early in the trip. However, I would even recommend looking forward to a bit of solitude on the camino (if possible) as it is medicine for the soul.

The walk out of Logrono and up the Hill was one of my favorite stretches (top 5) of the trip, enjoy your camino.

Don't let the thought of being part of a group, or as some say a Camino "family" be of any concern. Why would you? It isn't high school.
It is actually more enjoyable meeting and being part of several groups of fellow pilgrims. Sometimes groups of a few and sometimes just one or two. Sometimes it is quite nice to walk alone for several days.

Hi Peter

I did exactly the same thing in 2015 returning to Logrono and I immediately missed my camino family from the year earlier. However within two days I had lots of new friends and didn’t look back! I think the natural tendency to worry about this is quite normal and what makes the ultimate closeness of the Camino community so wonderful. It sometimes takes a little while to occur - you can’t rush it.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I know I will slot back into the camino way once I start walking again :)

and I'm restarting in logrono on 12 March. I intend to start about 45 minutes later than most people so I can catch, and talk with people along the way to my first stop. this allows me to meet as many as I can during the day and then just be one of the crowd during dinner.. Just say Hello to people and they will say hello back. It's almost entirely friendly people along "the way"
