Plan to walk Camino Frances around Sep 15
Hi, planning to depart Brisbane on the 12 Sep 2015 to Paris and starting the walk from SJPdP on the 15 Sep with additional day rest in SJPdP to recover from jet lag. Hoping to complete the walk in Santiago on the 19 Oct. Need headlamp if intending to start daily walk at 6.30am?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I'd say you can get by without a headlamp.. And you can always get it in Spain if you start of earlier
Buen Camino!

We walked in Sept 2013 and it was still dark at 0700 so yes I would bring a headlamp. I didn't and had to use the light on my mobile phone several times to find the arrows in the morning.
Buen Camino.

I personally wouldn't bring a headlamp, September isn't as busy or hot, exceptions confirm the rule, as July/August, so starting with the first light of the day is usually early enough plus you actually see then the landscape you are walking through and not only the next yellow arrow. Buen Camino! SY

Some of the days we walked reached 29c so we tried to be on the road at 0700 and it was still dark then, in Portomarin we tried three different places before we got a bed. There are no definates.
