Starting Info From Lisbon

Time of past OR future Camino
CF, SJPP-Finisterre, 2015
CP, Porto-Finisterre-Muxia, 2016
Hey folks,

When I did the Camino in 2015 we were given a walking outline (distances, terrain) as well as a list of albergues for the Camino Frances in SJPP. I am looking into the Camino Portugues for 2016 – is any of this information available upon arrival in Lisbon, or should I snag a guidebook before I go?

Thanks, and buen camino!

As John says, there are several good documents here on the forum: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/resources/categories/camino-portugues.40/

And I would also recommend that you take a look at the Via Lusitana's web page for the most up to date listing of accommodations. The Via Lusitana is a Lisbon-based Caminho group that has been the primary mover behind the improvement in markings, accommodation, etc on the Caminho south of Porto.

John Brierley has a guidebook in English, but I have walked from Lisbon and had no trouble without it. Bom caminho, Laurie
