Starting My Camino

Next summer I am hopefully going to take two weeks to walk the way of St. James. I would like to walk as much as possible, but I would also like not to rush. Where along the French way should I start my walk so that I will finish at Santiago de Compostela and walk at least the last hundred kilometers in the two weeks (hopefully more than the last 100)? If I start at the point suggest where would I fly in to and how would I get there. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

You could even start somewhere like Ponferrada, walk to Santiago then continue to Finisterre. That way you could fly to and from Santiago and you'd never be more than a couple of hours or so away from Santiago by bus at the start and end of your pilgrimage. That might add flexibility and mean you could start walking earlier or finish later. International flights to and from Santiago are few and far between so it's likely you'll have to connect in Madrid or Barcelona depending on where you're coming from and flight times etc.

Buen Camino!

Is the Compostela certificate so important? Know that by doing the last 100k you are missing the very best of the art and architecture found all along along th way, you are missing the cathedrals of Leon and Burgos, you are missing the nicest scenery between St. Jean and Pamplona, rural Galicia is also very beautiful but the cities -Melide Arzua Arca can make a grown person cry, but more importantly, the Camino is such an experience one which will chnge your life if you will allow it, but since you have "officialy"finished it why bother to return?
"Always keep Ithaca in your mind.
To arrive there is your ultimate goal.
But do not hurry the voyage at all.
It is better to let it last for many years;
and to anchor at the island when you are old,
rich with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting that Ithaca will offer you riches."
