Starting the CF

I am starting my first Camino on 2 September from SJPDP. Probably the most difficult for me, is learning conversational Spanish. I use the Duolingo app and speak with a couple of Spanish speaking friends, but I feel that is not enough. Did anyone find a good program for conversational Spanish?

You don't really need to know any Spanish, but it always helps.

Speaking the language is easier than responding to it. You can alleviate some of that by listening and watching Spanish language channels.

I use both Pimsleur, on my iPhone, and Duolingo. Once I complete the Pimsleur course, I repeat it. Presently, I am on pass #5. I do Duolingo daily.

It must be working. When I hear spoken Spanish, here in South Florida, my ears perk up and try to tune in. Also, I am starting to “think” of Spanish replies when we am in conversation. Go figure...
