Taxis at SJPD

My friend and I are starting our walk on the 29th. We will fly into Paris and then take a train to SJPD. We are starting "our Camino" in Roncesvalles and would liketo know from some of the experienced pilgrims if there is a taxi rank at the train station at SJPD. We will take the taxi to Roncesvalles. We will arrive at SJPD at 4:30 in the afternoon of the 28th of April and prefer to stay the night in Roncesvalles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Hello,

The railroad station at SJPdP is very small and without any permanent taxi stand.

One taxi company in the town is Goenaga Se Sarl,
41 Rue Espagne, 64220 Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port,
telephone +33 05 59 37 05 00 ‎

You can locate both the railroad station and this company on a Google map. It is an easily walked short distance.

Buen Camino!

Margaret

Thanks Margaret. Would you suggest I walk to the taxi company? Or phone? I know from experience that different countries do things differently when it comes to taxis.

Thanks very much for responding to my question. :)
