I just received this pack umbrella that looks amazing and functional. I have been able to release the lower section ( handle). I can’t release the middle section. I think I am doing what it suggests in the diagram. Any suggestions?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Thanks! What a common sense approach - YouTube! 😊. That was very helpful. The umbrella is open now! But in my défense, my husband had to really work to get it open. It was really stiff. But now it is fine and it works great for me. Thanks again. I am really looking forward to using it.

Just don't tighten it up too much!

One trick that I learned after using mine a lot - If you pass through an area with low hanging trees you don't have to completely remove the umbrella. Simply unsnap it from the shoulder strap clips and collapse the umbrella canopy, maybe shorten the handle a bit, then snap it back into place. Reverse the process when you are clear of trees and brush.
