3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I enjoyed Meson Burgos right beside the Cathredal. Amazing food and great people who work there.
A tad small, but don't let that put you off.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
nc6000 got it right, persuade yourself to arrive at SJPP through San Sebastian, Donostia in the Basque since this is the Premier League for Pintxos. Pulpo? Ignore Brierley and Melide, the octopus offered at the bar in O'Cebreiro is much much the better! Eeh? The little white delivery mini - trucks you heard (honk honk honkhonk) all along the Camino selling bread to outlying villages are now offering fresh fish, shellfish, and octopus from Villafranca del Bierzo until Santiago.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I also found the Pulpo in Melide very disappointing.

In a restaurant in Calle Mayor, in Najera, we (I was with a fellow pilgrim) were told that it was too late for "menú del día", but they had "pintxos". We were dubitative, because they did not seem great, until another customer, a local who was sippping slowly his pacharán, told us, "Folks, forget it, just go the other side of the street". It was Bar Naxara, Calle Mayor 58, very good, specially the fish, and not expensive. I expect our good advisor survived the murderous stare of the other bar's owner...

Calle Estafeta in Pamplona on a Thursday night for jueves pintos, €2 pintxos with your choice of wine, beer, or bottled water, if they are charging more than €2 on Thursday night, we walked to the next place that had them for €2.

Calle del Laurel in Logrono http://quentinsadler.wordpress.com/2012/06/07/a-tapas-crawl-in-logrono-rioja/

I passed a Spanish restaurant in the centre of Manchester today advertising menu del dia for £10. Three small tapas, no wine, no bread... I suddenly thought I wish I was in Spain again!

Thanks to all, Logrono was great and i agree you need a couple of days, never had a full meal as for two days lived on vino and tapas.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I agree that Logrono was out of this world, did anyone find a place in a smaller town?

Oh my goodness! I wonder if it's the place I was in last fall. Came out of a "fast-food joint" that had little pictures of things I could get at home, and started looking for something a bit more to my liking. Wait - what's that smell? nose up - garlic? turn around. sniff. sniff. there it is. but - I'm a lone woman, and was (before the camino) a bit shy. and no backpacks in there. and my spanish su - eh, is awful. nevermind. the wonderful lady behind the bar told me what everything was (in slow, precise Spanish), and I selected - ahem - five items. and I'll have whatever that gentleman (a local) is drinking. She gestured that I should sit at a table, and soon enough brought my FOUR PLATES of pin(ch)(tx)os (they are quite sizeable!) - with a lovely little smile -- and a more delicate wine than the gentleman had. Well, now, that was the best meal I had on the Camino! And I was stuffed! I'm going back there in September!! If you happen to see me on the Calle Mayor in Najera around the 19th, 20th Sept (give or take a few days on either side - I have no schedule), please feel free to join me! Short white hair, glasses, and aqua pack with Forum and American Pilgrims patches.
Buen Camino y buen provecho!

RiMboMbin! Burgos, Placa Mayor! They have lots of them from lunch to evening! Spoke to a female guest and she said to me that it is very popular and it has very good prices if you compare to the high quality!
We ate there, because we at first slept there! Just some days ago! 60€ for two persons. Very nice and clean.!
Bon apetite!

Hi, I can recommend Bar Pancho, Calle Lorenzo, Logrono. They have won awards for their food. It is cooked freshly with the kitchen in view. It was recommended to me by a Spanish friend from Burgos. They also have an Aparthotel, Maria Salome, across the tiny street which I stayed in.
