The Camino as background to a crime show "Crossing Lines"

Last night I was catching up with shows on Netflix, in particular "Crossing Lines" about a crime-solving team from the International Court of Justice (ICC). Quite good, worth watching. This episode revolved around a series of unexplained murders by drowning, in which a shell had been found deep in each victim's throat.
So the team end up in (allegedly) SJPdP and Roncesvalles. I say allegedly because neither location looked like what I remembered from my Camino Frances.

Anyway, it turned out that the murderer was a crazed religious fanatic that was befriending and kidnapping pilgrims so that he could do full-immersion baptisms until they drowned!

Good to think that such things don't happen in real life ...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Please can you tell us what the episode was called, or which season it was from?

Looks like season 2, episode 10 "The Long Way Home", although I have not yet seen any of this series!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
OK, a quiet afternoon at home (I walked this morning!) so I looked this one out. It's actually quite good, I shall now have to watch the rest of Crossing Lines as I enjoyed it!

Yes, there is a brief scene in Saint Jean Pied de Port and another somewhere close to Roncesvalles - it shows pilgrims on the mountain, but then they move towards Estrella and one of the potential victims mentions he had hoped to have been 'in Burgos by now' when he accepts a ride from the murderer.

It's not available on netflix in the UK, but it's on youtube (small window on-screen) or projectfreetv.

Thanks for the heads-up, Wyvernsridge.

I just watched the episode on Netflix. It was entertaining!

I had never seen this series. Interesting. What I do know after watching this episode is that everytime the voice in my heads asks me if we can cheat a bit by using motorised transportation I will remember this show

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
